Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Education For Bharat Awards 2025 organized by Amar Ujala. By submitting a nomination or participating in any capacity, participants agree to abide by these terms.

1. Participation

• Participants must complete and submit the participation questionnaire or send the nomination form via email to utsav.s@bs.amarujala.com.
• Awards Management reserves the right to permit or deny participation at its sole discretion.
• Employees of Awards Management, sponsors, and their immediate family members, as well as individuals with criminal convictions or those who are not citizens of India, are ineligible to participate.
• Award categories may be dropped, increased, or modified at the discretion of Awards Management without prior notice.
• Evaluation parameters are subject to revision by the jury and Awards Management.

2. Receipt of Entries

• The participation questionnaire must be submitted to the organizing team of Amar Ujala by 6:00 PM on 2nd December 2025.
• Late submissions may be accepted only at the discretion of Awards Management.
• Awards Management is not responsible for incomplete or improperly submitted entries.
• Entries must be submitted in English only.
• The participation form must be signed by an authorized representative of the participant.
• Awards Management reserves the right to nominate certain businesses or firms in each category if deemed appropriate.

3. Incorrect Information

• Awards Management reserves the right to request proof or audit any information provided in the entry form. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
• All information received will be treated as confidential and used only for evaluation purposes.
• If any submitted information is found to be incorrect, the participant may be disqualified or, if already awarded, required to return the award.
• Awards Management has sole authority to determine whether information is incorrect.

4. Shortlisting

• Entries received will be reviewed for completeness and eligibility.
• An internal jury will evaluate the entries using pre-defined criteria to shortlist up to five nominees per category out of which only one winner will be selected.
• Jury decisions are final and binding on all participants.
• In case no entry is deemed suitable, Awards Management reserves the right to cancel the category.

5. Determination of Winners

• The shortlisted nominees will be presented to the final jury for evaluation.
• The final jury will score or rank each nominee based on established criteria.
• Jury decisions are final and binding.
• Participation does not guarantee an award.
• The jury may choose not to select a winner in a category if entries do not meet the required standards.

6. General Conditions

• Decisions of Awards Management on all matters are final and binding.
• Nominees and winners grant Awards Management the right to use their names, images, and factual details for publicity purposes, free of charge.
• Awards Management is not liable for any claims or disputes related to participation or the awards process.
• Awards Management reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, or modify the awards or these terms at any time without notice.
• Awards Management shall not be responsible for disruptions, cancellations, or circumstances beyond its control (force majeure).
• All disputes shall be governed by Indian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India.
• Participants agree to hold harmless Awards Management, sponsors, and their representatives from any claims arising out of participation or results of the Awards.

7. Fees and Entry

• Upon receipt of the nomination form along with the nomination fee, confirmation will be provided.
• Nomination fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Entry to the Awards Ceremony is restricted to individuals aged 18 years and above.
• Each nomination entitles the participant to two guest passes for the Awards Ceremony.

8. Data Privacy

• All information submitted by participants will be used solely for evaluation, communication, and event-related purposes.
• Information will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.
